How to use this

Forex is open 24 hours, but it does not behave the same way for all 24. The London session sets the tone for Europe and brings most EUR/GBP volume. The London/NY overlap (13:00-17:00 UTC) is when the biggest moves on USD pairs and gold typically happen. The Tokyo session is for JPY and AUD/NZD action. Outside these windows, spreads widen and the market often consolidates.

Pick a session your daily life can support consistently. A trader in Nairobi (UTC+3) sees London open at 11:00 EAT and the NY overlap from 16:00 EAT - good fit for someone with an after-work routine. Trying to catch every session is a recipe for poor execution and burnout.
